Firstly, visually, sandblasting stainless steel has a uniform matte finish without a specific texture; brushed finishes have clear unidirectional or intersecting textures; and mirror finishes have a highly reflective surface that is extremely smooth. Tactilely, sandblasting has a fine, micro-particle feel; brushed finishes have a smooth, velvety feel; and mirror finishes are extremely smooth. Sandblasting is most effective at concealing fingerprints and small stains.

For example, on sand blasting stainless steel, after masking and then spot polishing, you can create logos, lines, or patterns with a high gloss finish; or combine it with etching processes to form patterns; or combine it with PVD plating to create sheets with a dual contrast of texture and color.

There will be some water stains. However, the diffuse reflection properties of the sandblasted surface of sandblasted stainless steel will make the water stains very faint after drying, and they will not be visually noticeable. If 316L stainless steel is used, its corrosion resistance is extremely strong. Under normal atmospheric conditions, its service life can easily exceed 25 years, and its color and texture will not change significantly. With proper daily maintenance and cleaning, it can even last as long as the building structure.
